These adapters are a true plug and play solution for installing 2016 to 2018 OEM LED tail lights onto a 2014 to 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 originally equipped with factory halogen tail lights. No cutting or splicing is required.
Unlike many other conversion harnesses being sold with basic load resistors, these harnesses include upgraded premium heavy duty aluminum load resistors. The premium resistors help prevent hyper flash and allow the LED tail lights to operate properly with the factory vehicle wiring while providing improved heat handling.
These conversion harnesses install between the junction block and the factory tail light harness located behind the driver side rear bumper. This placement keeps the resistor leads in a cooler area to help prevent overheating and ensure proper operation.

Required for Installation:
The factory sub harness that comes with the 2016 to 2018 LED tail lights must be used. That sub harness plugs directly into this adapter at the junction block behind the rear bumper.
