The OEM LED BLIS taillights physically bolt onto the truck. The electrical side is different.
Factory halogen BLIS and factory LED BLIS taillights use different wiring layouts and electrical needs. The LED taillights are not designed to run on the halogen BLIS wiring. A conversion harness corrects the wiring layout and leaves the factory wiring in place.
